Ticket Vending Solution-18A

How it works

Let’s understand how TVS 18A makes it happen in the real world with the help of a couple of scenarios.

A. Ticket Purchase

  • End customer goes to Ticket sale counter to buy a ticket
  • Request for type of ticket (Supports multiple denominations tickets)
  • Retailer enters the information on POS (Point-of-Sale) terminal
  • Terminal sends relevant information to BTA Application server using either GSM-GPRS/Wi-Fi/VPN
  • Server validates terminal account details
  • Terminal generates a printout with code and other instruction details (customizable print format)
  • Duplicate copy can be generated

B. Ticket Validation

  • End customer goes to Ferry/Bus/Train entrance to start the journey
  • Ticket inspector will read the Ticket barcode information through a barcode reader
  • POS Connects to server and check for authorization
  • After successful authorization, End customer is allowed to enter in to Ferry/Bus/Train
